The photos below were taken at the Lighthouse Marina Resort in Subic Bay Freeport Zone last September 21, 2013. Besides the actual cleanup, the hotel also had other activities lined up like the Water Bonsai Making led by Philippine Employment Service Office (PESO), the Sculpture Art Workshop led by the Contreras Sculptures in partnership with Casa San Miguel School in Pundaquit and the Junior Environmental Scouts led by the MVP Group of Companies.
Our future belongs to the young ones. It is our duty to find ways to encourage our kids and teach them to be protectors of our planet. Art is one way to tap those young minds. If we can integrate art with nature appreciation, then our chances of breeding environmental warriors becomes greater. The more we appreciate nature, the more we appreciate life. Art opens our heart to nature and Kids are natural art lovers.
The Lighthouse Marina Resort promotes art & environment and tries to infuse it in their everyday activities.

After years of preparation for the International Coastal Cleanup Zambales, the organizers were fortunate enough to meet a lot of amazing people who are very passionate about the environment and make a stand in creating awareness. This project will not be possible without all the support of each and everyone of those people.
When people work together towards a common goal, nothing is impossible. We will continue to work towards a better future for our community.
